Flagship report · Egyptian fashion e-commerce 2026

One market, four verticals, 23 brands

Sportswear, homewear, women's fashion and the international high street — priced, counted and compared side by side. The pattern that emerges: a market that competes hard on discounts and barely competes at all on proof, speed, or delivery promises.

What the numbers mean

01

Price is the crowded axis. Proof is the empty one.

Every vertical fights on discounts; almost nobody fights on reviews, guarantees, or delivery promises. The competitive slots that convert anxious shoppers are standing open in all four markets.

02

Scale doesn't equal presentation.

The biggest catalogs (12,000 products; 17,000+ SKUs) sit behind the weakest storefront experiences — slow pages, buried categories, invisible policies. Assortment is winning; merchandising is losing.

03

Egyptian identity is unclaimed in every vertical.

Across 23 brands — many proudly local — not one leads with Egyptian provenance as a designed story. Against internationals at EGP 199 entry prices, identity is the local defense nobody is mounting.

Figures reflect each storefront as publicly displayed, March–April 2026. Prices in EGP. All brands reported neutrally.
