Privacy Policy

Mojo is a performance marketing consultancy based in Cairo, Egypt. We plan and run paid advertising for other businesses, and we run Mojo Creative Report, an app that reports on how a business’s own ads perform. This policy covers three separate things: the personal data we collect from visitors to this website, the data the Creative Report app handles for its customers, and the data we handle inside the advertising accounts of the clients we manage. They are governed by different rules, so they are described separately below.

Questions, requests or complaints: grow@more-mojo.com.

1. What we collect on this website

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure how the site is used. This records things like pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring source, device and browser. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to recognise return visits. We do not use advertising pixels, session recording, or heat mapping on this site.

You can block this through your browser's cookie settings, through an ad or tracker blocker, or with Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally with analytics blocked.

The brief form

If you submit a brief on this site, we collect only the fields on the form: the type of engagement you selected, your name, your email address, your website, the monthly revenue bracket you selected, the advertising channel you selected, and your message if you write one. We record the time of submission and that it came from this site. We do not ask for and do not want payment details, identity documents, or any special category data.

The form posts to an automation service running on our own server, which routes the brief to our email and to an internal notification channel in Slack, so we see it quickly, and nowhere else. We use it to answer you and, if we work together, to run the engagement. We do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.

Email and messaging

If you email or message us, we keep that correspondence so we can pick up the conversation later. Our email runs on Google Workspace.

2. The Creative Report app

Mojo Creative Report, at app.more-mojo.com, shows a business how its own Meta and TikTok ads perform. The data it handles belongs to the customer who signs up, and it is kept apart from our agency work.

What it collects

When you sign up we ask for your email address, your WhatsApp number, your brand name and website, the monthly revenue and ad spend ranges you select, and the IDs of the ad accounts you want reported on.

Once you share an ad account with us, the app reads its performance data and its creatives (the images, videos and copy of your ads) from Meta and, when TikTok connection opens, from TikTok. That access is read-only: on Meta you add Mojo as a partner with View performance access, and nothing the app holds can edit a campaign, change a budget or spend money. If you also share your Page or catalogue, the app reads the videos and product images it needs to show your ads. Performance data comes from the platforms in aggregate, so it does not identify the people who saw your ads.

The access tokens that let the app read your accounts are encrypted at rest and are never shared outside Mojo.

How it is used

To build and deliver your reports and dashboard, to send your login emails, to contact you about your account and your plan, and to confirm your payments. We do not sell it or rent it, we do not show one customer’s data to another, and we do not use it, or supply it to anyone, to train machine learning models.

3. Client advertising data

Most of the data we handle is not collected by this website at all. It belongs to the clients whose advertising accounts we manage, and we reach it through the advertising platforms themselves, including Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Microsoft Advertising and Amazon Ads, along with analytics and commerce platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Shopify.

The rules we work to:

  • Access is granted by the client, and revocable by the client. We reach an account only after its owner authorises us, either by adding us as a user or by approving an API authorisation. They can withdraw that access at any time, without going through us.
  • Least access that does the job. We request the narrowest permission that lets us do the work agreed, and read-only access where the engagement is reporting or audit rather than campaign management.
  • Used only for that client. A client's data is used to operate and report on that client's own advertising. We do not pool one client's data with another's, and we do not use one client's results to inform another's account beyond the general professional judgement we bring to all our work.
  • Not sold or redistributed. We do not sell, rent, license or otherwise disclose client advertising data to third parties, and we do not supply it to third parties for the training of machine learning models.
  • Credentials are held carefully. Access tokens and API credentials are stored on our own machines with file permissions restricted to the account owner. They are never committed to source control and never shared outside Mojo.
  • Platform terms apply on top of this policy. Where a platform imposes its own data rules on us, including the Amazon Ads Data Protection Policy and the equivalent terms from Google, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat and Microsoft, we comply with them.

Where a client is the data controller for personal data inside their own accounts, we act on their instructions in relation to it. Individual consumers with questions about a specific brand's advertising data should approach that brand, though you are welcome to contact us and we will point you to the right place.

4. Who else sees the data

We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they see only what they need to provide their service:

  • Hostinger, which hosts this website, the Creative Report app and our automation server;
  • Resend, which sends the Creative Report app’s login emails;
  • Cloudflare R2, which stores the app’s encrypted backups;
  • Slack, where the automation service on our own server posts internal notifications, such as a new brief or a new sign-up;
  • Google, for our Workspace email and documents, and for analytics;
  • the advertising and commerce platforms named above, in relation to the accounts we manage or report on.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it.

Some of these providers operate outside Egypt, so data may be processed abroad, including in the European Union and the United States.

5. How long we keep it

Briefs and correspondence are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for the relationship, and for our own records afterwards. Client account data lives in the platforms themselves, under the client's control, and our access ends when they end it. Analytics data follows Google Analytics 4 retention, set to Google's default. Ask us to delete something and we will, unless we are required to keep it.

For the Creative Report app:

  • the data behind a free report is deleted 30 days after the report;
  • if you subscribe, your data is kept while your subscription runs and deleted 30 days after it ends;
  • access tokens are deleted as soon as you disconnect an ad account;
  • payment records are kept for as long as we need them for our accounts.

Our data deletion page explains how to have it deleted sooner.

6. Your rights

You can ask us what personal data of yours we hold, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it. Email grow@more-mojo.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

If you use the Creative Report app, our data deletion page sets out how to have your data deleted and how to remove our access to your ad accounts.

7. Children

This site is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
