Saudi fragrance 2026:
one band, two stories.

At two online fragrance stores in Saudi Arabia, SAR 300 to 800 held about 68% of bottle and set value at the higher-priced store and roughly 10 to 30% at the lower-priced one. Samples were about a quarter of units and about 3% of value. Labelled alternatives were about a tenth of units.

All figures as of 30 October 2026. Two stores, 10,425 products. Period: 31 August to 30 October at one store, 4 to 30 October at the other. Value shares are estimates at selling price, not revenue.

The short answer

No single price point describes both stores. Pooled, half of bottle and set units were at about SAR 200 or less, but that share was 86% at the lower-priced store and 17% at the higher-priced one, where the average bottle or set was about SAR 424 against about SAR 171.

Pooled, SAR 300 to 800 holds a little over half of bottle and set value, but that blends a store where it holds about 68% with one where it holds roughly a tenth to a third, on few products. A group of eight named Gulf houses is concentrated at one of the two stores: about 40% of its bottle units at SAR 200 or less, and about 5% at the other. These figures cover two stores, not the whole Saudi Arabia perfume market.

  • The band is large at one store only. SAR 300 to 800 is about 60% of bottle and set units at the higher-priced store and a small share at the lower-priced one, even though about 30% of the lower-priced store's range sits in that band.
  • Samples are a count story. They are about a quarter of units and about 3% of value, at about SAR 23 on average against about SAR 300 for a bottle or set.
  • Labelled alternatives outsell their range. They are about 3% of products and about a tenth of units at each store, but at one store most of that is a single product; without it, about 4% against about 11%.
  • Oud-named products are small here. They are about 4% of the range and about 3% of units and of value, so this is not a read on oud as a whole.

Finding 01

Is SAR 300 to 800 the main perfume price band in Saudi Arabia?

At two online fragrance stores in Saudi Arabia, 31 August to 30 October 2026, SAR 300 to 800 held about 60% of bottle and set units and about 68% of value at the higher-priced store, against under 10% of units and roughly 10 to 30% of value at the lower-priced one.

Pool the two stores and the band looks decisive: about 35% of the range, about a third of units and a little over half of value, at an average of about SAR 480. Move the edges and it stays large: SAR 300 to 700 is about 47% of value, SAR 250 to 800 about 61% and SAR 300 to 1,000 about 62%.

Split the stores and the pattern separates. The average bottle or set is about SAR 424 at the higher-priced store and about SAR 171 at the lower-priced one, a gap of about 2.5 times. Sales to date point the same way, so it is not only a two-month reading.

At the lower-priced store the band rests on few products, and most of its units are multi-piece sets, so its share moves a lot with what is counted. Treat that side as direction only. The two stores' periods also differ in length. Read the pooled band as "about half, and led by one store".

What are the best-selling perfumes at these stores? افضل عطور by what people bought.

Of the ten bottles and sets bought most at two online fragrance stores in Saudi Arabia, up to 30 October 2026, six were priced at SAR 200 or less.

"Best" is a matter of taste, so this is a list of what was bought, not a recommendation. A group of eight named Gulf houses is about 7% of the range excluding samples and alternatives, about 18% of units to date and about 8% of value to date, at a median of SAR 144 against SAR 298 for everything else. Almost all of their units in the period came from one of the two stores, so read this share as store mix, not a national figure.

Among bottles and sets, they are about 40% of units at SAR 200 or less at that store and about 5% at the other.

The list includes Nishane's Hacivat Extrait and Yves Saint Laurent's Y. Several of the ten sold little in the last two months, so it leans on older sales. In the two months alone, the list shifts, with Xerjoff's XJ Naxos and Givenchy's Gentleman Réserve Privée near the top.

Finding 03

How much do perfume samples sell? About a quarter of units, about 3% of value.

At two online fragrance stores in Saudi Arabia, 31 August to 30 October 2026, perfume samples were about 9% of the range, about a quarter of units and about 3% of value. Most are tiny and cheap: about three-quarters of those with a stated size are 2ml or less, and about 70% of sample units cost SAR 25 or less. They average about SAR 23, or about SAR 17 at one store and SAR 34 at the other. Samples take a larger share of units than of value at both stores.

Treat the share as a reading of these two months. To date, samples are about 12% of units, and that share differs widely between the stores: about 22% and 3%.

Samples also cluster around some dearer houses. Amouage takes about 18% of sample units and De Marly about 10%. Almost all Amouage units here are samples; very few bottles were bought in the period. These figures cannot say whether a sample buyer later bought the bottle.

Finding 04

How much do fragrance alternatives sell? A small range, one big product.

At two online fragrance stores in Saudi Arabia, 31 August to 30 October 2026, products labelled as alternatives to a named perfume were about 3% of the range, about a tenth of units and about 7% of value. The median is SAR 134, with the middle half between SAR 105 and SAR 170, so they sit under the SAR 270 median for a bottle or set.

They are about a tenth of units at each store in the period, but at one store most of that is a single product; without it, about 4% against about 11%. To date the stores differ widely, at about 3% and 16%. Pooled, one product is about a third of alternative units and the top five about half. Without the largest, alternatives are about 7% of units and about 5% of value.

This covers only products labelled as alternatives. Others may not say so, so the true share may be higher.

Finding 05

How much do oud perfumes cost? عطور عود across a wide price range.

At two online fragrance stores in Saudi Arabia, as of 30 October 2026, oud-named perfume bottles had a median price of about SAR 355, and about half of their units to date were between SAR 100 and 300.

Products with oud in the name are about 4% of the range and about 3% of units and of value. Bakhoor-named products add about 1% of the range and about 2% of units. Oud-named products are a small part of both ranges, so this is not a read on oud as a whole.

Most recent units sat between SAR 100 and 300, on a small base. Over a longer run the picture is wider: to date, about half of units are in that band, and above SAR 500 sits about a third of the range, about a tenth of units and about a third of value.

Bottles bought most to date include Chopard's Oud Malaki and Gucci's Intense Oud.

On the same day, about 1 in 10 of the best sellers at the lower-priced store and about 1 in 4 at the higher-priced one were unavailable, against 29% and 40% of each full range. These 30 October figures cover the 10,167 products in range that day.

Questions

What do people ask about perfume in Saudi Arabia?

How big is the Saudi Arabia perfume market?

This report does not size the market. It compares two online fragrance stores in Saudi Arabia and 10,425 products, as of 30 October 2026. At those stores, bottles and sets were about 56% of units and about 80% of value.

What are the best-selling perfumes in Saudi Arabia in 2026?

Two stores cannot name a national best seller. Of the ten bottles and sets bought most up to 30 October 2026 at two online fragrance stores in Saudi Arabia, six were at SAR 200 or less, and the list also includes Nishane's Hacivat Extrait and Yves Saint Laurent's Y. A group of eight named Gulf houses took about 18% of units to date on about 7% of the range, excluding samples and alternatives, and almost all of that was at one store.

How much should a good perfume cost in Saudi Arabia?

Price does not settle quality. At two online fragrance stores in Saudi Arabia, as of 30 October 2026, half of bottle and set units were at about SAR 200 or less. At the lower-priced store, 86% of those units were at SAR 200 or less. At the higher-priced store, about 60% were between SAR 300 and 800.

Is SAR 300 to 800 the sweet spot for perfume in Saudi Arabia?

At one of two online fragrance stores compared, as of 30 October 2026, it holds most bottle units and value; these figures cannot show it is the best price to sell at. At the other it holds a small share of units and roughly a tenth to a third of value, on few products. Pooled, it is about a third of units and a little over half of value, so the pooled figure describes the mix of stores, not a national price point.

How much do oud perfumes cost in Saudi Arabia?

Do perfume samples sell in Saudi Arabia?

At two online fragrance stores in Saudi Arabia, 31 August to 30 October 2026, they sell in number, not in money: about a quarter of units and about 3% of value, at an average of about SAR 23. What should brand owners selling fragrance in Saudi Arabia do?

Brand owners should plan by price band and product type, because at two online fragrance stores in Saudi Arabia, as of 30 October 2026, the same band held about 68% of bottle and set value at one store and roughly a tenth to a third at the other.

If you sell bottles under SAR 200

This is where the lower-priced store's units are, 86% of them. Check delivery and cost per order before you set a target, because an average near SAR 171 leaves far less room than SAR 424.

If you sell at SAR 300 to 800

Do not assume the band travels. It holds about 68% of bottle and set value at one store and roughly a tenth to a third at the other. Choose partners by the price their customers already pay, and build your own-site case on your own numbers.

If you sell samples

At about SAR 23 a sample, a single-sample order leaves little room for paid acquisition. Check it against your own cost per order. Treat samples as a possible route to the bottle, and record who goes on to buy, because these figures cannot show it. Your own orders can.

If you sell alternatives

Around SAR 134 is the reference point at these stores. One product can carry most of a line at a store, so judge the line on more than its top product. Have ad copy that names another brand checked first.

If you sell oud

If you sell at both SAR 100 to 300 and above SAR 500, set separate cost targets. To date, the first holds about half of units at these stores and the second about a third of value on about a tenth of units.

If you run a store

Check that top sellers can be bought before spending on them. About 1 in 4 best sellers was unavailable at one store on 30 October, and an ad for a product that cannot be bought cannot sell it.

A move for this week. Split your fragrance reporting by price band and product type, on units and value side by side. A blended ROAS across a SAR 23 sample and a SAR 480 bottle tells you little about either. Then set each line its own target before you raise the budget.
